Dedicated to the memory of Heather Trigwell

This site is a tribute to Heather Trigwell, (born February 13, 1974) who was suddenly and unexpectantly taken from us on Saturday 30th, July 2016.

Heather, known to the family as 'Hevi' or 'Hev' was born and brought up in Portslade, by her parents Ken and Leah, an unexpected 'gift' she was the baby of the family. Sharing her childhood home with her sister Paula and her three brothers Dean, Robert and Laurance.

Hevi was full of love and cared for everyone she knew without reservation. She was a wonderful mother to Matthew and Amelia, whom she was so incredibly proud of and meant everything to her.

We shall miss Hevi forever more and have decided as a family that having spent her life loving children and caring for others, it would be most appropriate that we help those she enjoyed helping during her life. With this in mind we would ask those who may be thinking of sending flowers or gifts rather honour her by making a donation to the Chestnut Tree Children's Hospice. A wonderful little charity dedicated to children and based in Hevi's lifelong home of Sussex and appropriately based in Arundel were she loved to take her daughter Amelia for days out.

We would also love to see all of her friends at her funeral, and would like everybody who knew Hevi to know that you are very welcome to join us in a celebration of her life at a service at Woodvale Crematorium South Chapel, off Bear Road Brighton on the 19th August at 12.30.

There will be an informal wake including buffet after the ceremony at The Grenadier, 200 Hangleton Way, Hove BN3 7LT.  Once again all are welcome.

We would also love to see your thoughts and share your memories of our beautiful Hev, so if you would like to, please feel free to post your text, images and movies on this site so we can all share in a celebration of her life.

Thank you all.

Laurance Trigwell
on behalf of the Trigwell Family.

Thoughts

Until We Meet Again Each morning when we awake we know that you are gone. And no one knows the heartache As we try to carry on. Our hearts still ache with sadness and many tears still flow. What it meant to lose you, No one will ever know. Our thoughts are always with you, your place no one can fill. In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still. There will always be a heartache, and often a silent tear, But always a precious memory Of the days when you were here. If tears could make a staircase, And heartaches make a lane, We'd walk the path to heaven And bring you home again. We hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives Until we meet again. Our family chain is broken now, And nothing will be the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.

Always There: When you remember me, please do not weep. My body may not be there, it has chosen to sleep. I’m not that far away, my soul lives on, looking down, watching over you and everyone. And when you feel sad and life seems so blue, just remember that my spirit has its arms around you. And on those special days, times that you wish I could see you, that cool breeze flowing past you, well that will be me. So don’t be sad, have no fear, God has taken me under his wing, but I’ll always be near, I still watch you every minute, every day. My love and soul are with you, and that is where they will stay.
